Tell you what, Spider-Man is my favorite Marvel character and one of my favorite characters in fiction, in general. So I decided to draw Peter Parker/Spider-Man in my own style. Now that "my Peter Parker" has this look, I can continue to use it in other illustrations. : )
I could improve on the proportions a bit, but I like his face and hairstyle. He looks like a friendly neighbor to me.

For this fan art I decided to go for a more comic book-y style with a mix of flatter colors and a bit of air brush. Interestingly, this took a little less time to color than the other illustrations with more brush strokes.
